Promote Dealership Operations' brands, products, and member services through content, e-mail, website, social media, promotional, event, and print marketing to improve brand awareness and competitive positioning.
Essential Functions:

  • Engage, interact, and communicate across all Dealership Operations departments and respective leadership.
  • Develop and implement content, graphics, animation, user interfaces, and icons for digital marketing communications and social media.
  • Develop compelling titles and descriptions for Dealership Operations products including courses, workshops, and webinars.
  • Update the various Dealership Operations websites and pages, consistent with brand and marketing strategies, including product titles, descriptions, and placement to stimulate interest and sales.
  • Develop and execute e-mail marketing communications and automated e-mail marketing campaigns to increase utilization of current products and services as well as attract new customers.
  • Track and report web and campaign metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of content, navigation, traffic, and lead generation for Dealership Operations components and products.
  • Recommend and develop e-commerce strategies to promote improved online customer sales experience.
  • Promote Dealership Operations products, market studies, and services using social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google + and YouTube.
  • Assist with the development and execution of traditional marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with graphic design and copy writing, development of collateral, direct mail, and CRM initiatives.
  • Share best practices, assist as needed, and recommend strategic marketing initiatives to Dealership Operations marketing team.
  • Promote brand awareness and support all Dealership Operations products and services.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Support exhibit events with setup, staffing, and staff training.
  • Identify, track, and report relevant metrics for marketing, advertising, and digital.
  • Actively monitor marketing trends and participate in conferences, workshops, and professional groups to maintain awareness of current technology and practices.
  • Document policies and procedures.
  • Ensure documents are copied and distributed to appropriate staff.  
  • Other job duties as assigned.        

Qualifications: Education and Work Experience
Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience. One to five years proven work experience in marketing and content development. Ability to implement principles of branding and assist in development of a comprehensive marketing and advertising plan using exhibit, print, digital, website, and social media. Excellent oral and written communication, copywriting, and planning/organization skills required. Computer proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 5, social media platforms, content management systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are necessary. Experience with automated e-mail marketing software, e-commerce, HTML, and metatags are preferred. The employee must have the ability to travel up to 10%.
