Manage operations of the NADA's web-based delivery systems, classroom technologies, learning management systems, and the integration between the eCommerce platform and related Dealership Operations websites.                   


Essential Functions:        

  • Lead the ongoing design, configuration, testing, and deployment of learning content, data stores and related integrated technologies including Training Locker, SSLA (Simple SCORM LMS Adapter), Edvance360, Meridian KS, Adobe Connect and authoring tools such as Storyline, Captivate, Lectora Inspire, or Camtasia Studio.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, usage, analysis, training and administration of the NADA Academy Platform and related classroom technologies.
  • Define, design, and develop solutions to simplify and automate learning and business processes.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate eLearning SCORM packages using video, publications, and other digital assets and deploy them to their related technologies.
  • Manage tokens and licensing of content through a centralized repository and ancillary sites that deliver that content.
  • Publish marketing materials to various Dealership Operations websites.
  • Troubleshoot, support, and maintain classroom AV equipment, classroom educational technologies, student response systems, and related classroom support systems at the Tier 1 level.
  • Identify and analyze options and provide recommendations for system/L&D process enhancements, improvements, and innovative automation solutions to meet the needs of our learners.
  • Develop and enforce standards, policies, processes, workflows for CMS, LCMS and related systems.
  • Supervise, research and evaluate vendor/partner personnel and systems to achieve business performance goals.
  • Work with Senior Management to develop annual strategy and goals for NADA member benefits delivered through various learning platforms.
  • Maintain backups and versions of source files, related content objects, and produced learning materials.
  • Manage data reporting and product management analysis to generate detailed course and product level reports.
  • Maintain updates of content and course catalog.
  • Provide training/user support for internal users and site administrators, including user guides.
  • Create and deploy private label learning sites or platforms for a variety of partners, clients, and as part of training delivery contracts.
  • Responsible for data integrity, user access, and system configuration. Perform system updates, product loads, and commission reporting; executes QA testing on all related applications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot delivery and administration problems for the LMS and related systems.                   


Non-Essential Functions:              

  • Contribute to Dealership Operations' curriculum plan on idea generation and resource allocation toward the prioritization, development and delivery of core and custom training initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of new technology as it relates to the delivery of training and educational programs to serve the automotive industry.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned       

Qualifications: Education and Work Experience

Bachelor degree or equivalent level of experience in Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Training & Development required. Master's degree preferred. Experience in web development and project management is required. 7 to 10 years direct learning management system or comparable systems administration experience.  Experience in developing or deploying eLearning courses in an (L)CMS or learning delivery system strongly preferred.  Working knowledge of SCORM and the xAPI (Tin Can API) standards.  Strong skills in organization and planning, and written and oral communications. Proficiency in MS Office. Aptitude for learning and applying new technologies and process improvement methodology.  Track record of building strong alliances and relationships, particularly with IT, and the ability to tactfully negotiate multiple demands and create resolutions that stakeholders will support.
